CDA Terms & Conditions
CLAUDIA DEAN ACADEMY - TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to all students, parents/guardians, and visitors attending or engaging with Claudia Dean Academy Pty Ltd (“CDA”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By enrolling, attending classes, or entering our premises, you agree to these Terms.
2. Enrolment & Attendance
- Enrolment secures a place in a class or program for the specified term.
- Regular attendance is expected to maintain progression and class standards.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel enrolment where necessary (including behaviour or safety concerns).
3. Fees & Payments
- All fees must be paid in full or via approved payment plans prior to participation.
- Payments may be processed automatically (where applicable).
- Fees are non-refundable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
- Missed classes are not refundable or transferable unless otherwise stated (please email our team to organise a transfer if it can be allocated).
- Once a payment plan is agreed to, the plan must be completed in full. All payments must be made on time until the balance is paid in full. By entering into a payment plan the customer is agreeing to these terms. All fees for classes will be charged 1 week in advance.
4. Cancellations & Changes

CDA reserves the right to:
- Change class times, teachers, or structure
- Cancel or reschedule classes where necessary
- Where possible, reasonable notice will be given.
5. Health & Safety
- Students must be physically fit to participate.
- Any injuries, medical conditions, or limitations must be disclosed prior to class.
- CDA is not responsible for injuries sustained during classes, except where required by law.
- Students must follow all staff instructions at all times.
6. Behaviour Expectations

To maintain a safe and positive environment:
- Students must show respect to staff and other dancers.
- Bullying, disruptive behaviour, or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated. This adheres to our culture standards.
- Parents/guardians must behave respectfully toward staff and other families.
- CDA reserves the right to remove any student or attendee who breaches these expectations.
7. Child Safety & Supervision
- CDA is committed to providing a safe environment for all children

Parents/guardians are responsible for:
- Ensuring timely drop-off and pick-up.
- Our team members will always be assigned on site during class times for child supervision.
- Only authorised staff are permitted in teaching spaces unless otherwise approved.
8. Photography, Filming & Media Consent

Classes, rehearsals, and events may be photographed or filmed.

By enrolling, you consent to the use of images/videos of students for:
- Marketing
- Social media
- Educational content

By enrolling, you consent to the use of images/videos of students for:
- If you wish to opt out, written notice must be provided prior to participation.
9. Personal Property
- CDA is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.
- Students are encouraged to clearly label all items.
10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law:
- Participation in dance activities carries inherent risks
- CDA is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation
- Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Code of Conduct (Parents & Students)
By engaging with CDA, you agree to uphold our community values, including:
- Respectful communication
- Supportive behaviour
- Trust in coaching methods
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued participation indicates acceptance.
