Your Questions answered
How do I know if full-time or part-time training is right for my child?
Full-time + Part-time training is best suited to dancers who are emotionally ready, highly motivated, and show strong potential within the artform. At CDA, acceptance is based on future potential and work ethic. We offer different class streams and place each dancer into the program that best supports their current level and long-term development.
Is RAD the best ballet syllabus for my child?
Yes. The Royal Academy of Dance syllabus is one of the most internationally recognised and adaptable training systems in the world. RAD provides a strong, correct classical foundation that allows dancers to transition confidently into any professional institution, company, or training pathway globally.
What if my child dreams of dancing professionally one day?
Our after-school program provides the correct foundations needed for future progression into Part-Time Pro or Full-Time Pro training if and when the dancer is ready. We focus on doing the right training at the right age to support long-term success and avoid burnout.
What makes CDA different from other dance schools?
CDA training is designed to move dancers forward in a pace that prepares dancers into leading pre-professional ballet schools at the right time, with correct foundations and age-appropriate development that supports long-term success. We pair this with a genuinely supportive, positive culture built over more than 10 years — one that prioritises encouragement, clear communication, and confidence in every dancer's journey.
What if something happens to my child?
Your child’s safety is our highest priority. All CDA staff follow a strict first aid and emergency protocol, and a trained team member will assist your child immediately if needed. Parents are contacted straight away with clear communication and updates. Please find our Child Protection Policy here.
