CDA Culture Day, Supporting the dancer behind the technique

At CDA, we believe a dancer's mindset is just as important as their technical training. CDA Culture Day is once per term and brings together expert guest speakers and educators to support our dancers' wellbeing and mindset.

What is CDA Culture Day?

CDA Culture Day is an academy-wide initiative that focuses on:

  • Mindset, motivation, and emotional wellbeing, helping dancers build confidence and healthy self-belief
  • Education around the realities of ballet training and career pathways, including auditions and overseas training
  • Honest, age-appropriate guidance for dancers and parents, so families feel informed and supported in each stage of the journey
  • Building a kind, and supportive studio culture, where dancers learn to uplift one another and feel safe and understood
